On May 08, 2020,  the Minister for Scientific and Technological Development, Higher Education and Information Society of Republika Srpska, Mr. Srđan Rajčević, visited Jezero Municipality and on that occasion delivered 15 mini-computers to the students from Jezero. The mini-computers were purchased by the project "1,000 for the future". Namely, that is the project realized by the Ministry for Scientific and Technological Development, Higher Education and Information Society of Republika Srpska in cooperation with the socially responsible companies from the telecommunications and information and communication technologies sector. Within this project, the purchase of 1000 mini-computers was financed and they will be given to primary school students from extremely undeveloped municipalities in Republika Srpska, including Jezero, with the aim to support distance learning. This is a contribution  in order to overcome the crisis situation related to the appearance and spread of the COVID-19 corona virus in the Republic of Srpska.

The mayor of Jezero Municipality, Snezana Ruzicic, emphasized that this is a very important project and support to extremely underdeveloped municipalities and their students who, although they come from small communities, achieve excellent results, and whose learning is now especially difficult because of the COVID-19 coronary virus pandemic.

After the computers were given to their new owners, a working meeting was held in the building of Jezero Municipality, which was attended by the Mayor and the Minister, as well as the Director of the Primary Schooln in Jezero and the topic of the meeting was to consider the possibilities for further support of the Ministry to Jezero Municipality and its students, as well as projects that the Ministry plans to implement in the coming period.
